Sabor y Sueños is Despierta’s annual signature fundraiser—a cultural celebration of flavor, resilience, and the bold dreams of Latina women and youth in Charlotte. Each year, we bring together community members, businesses, and leaders for a one-of-a-kind evening featuring a chef-curated Latin-inspired meal, local entertainment, and an impactful program that highlights the stories and successes made possible by Despierta’s work.

All proceeds from the event go directly to funding our Bonita Rising, Bonita Mamá, and Mujer Despierta programs—allowing us to expand and serve more schools, families, and youth in need.
